Corinne Prieur Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Corinne E. Prieur, 76, of 3603 Overlook Terrace, Bemus Point, died at 8:30 A.M. Sunday (Jan. 5, 2003) in the home of her daughter in Ashville. She was born Dec. 13, 1926 in Buffalo, a daughter of Elmer Dewey and Mabel Nora Drake Brown. She was a graduate of Riverside High School in Buffalo. In earlier years she had been employed as a receptionist and secretary in the office of Dr. Wechter, and by the Park & Pollard Co., both in Buffalo. At the time of her death she was the vice president of Ralph R. Prieur & Company of Jamestown. She attended St. Timothy Lutheran Church. A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, the main focus of her life was her family. She always enjoyed relating tales of her beautiful childhood years in Buffalo. Survivors: Husband - Ralph R. Prieur, whom she married May 15, 1948 in Buffalo Son - Randall K. Prieur Daughters - Laura L. Warner and Wendy N. Keefe Grandchildren - Matthew D. and Dianna E. Prieur, Kyle L. and Sarah C. Warner, Makayla R. Keefe Brother - Courtney L. Brown She was preceded in death by 2 sisters: Jean E. Burkhardt and Auleen E. Brown Rev. Jeff Silvernail will officiate at the service. The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the fellowship hall of the church. Inurnment will be in Bemus Point Cemetery.
