Henry Fedrick

Henry M. Fedrick, 86, of 221 Fulton St., Jamestown, formerly of Forestville, died at 6:45 P.M. Friday (Oct. 27, 2006) in his home. He was born Aug. 4, 1920 in Americus, Ga., one of twenty-two children of Nelson and Sarah Badden Fedrick. Prior to retiring he had been employed as a steel worker by Dunkirk Radiator Co. He was a member of a Masonic lodge in Georgia, was a Baptist by faith, and enjoyed building projects, working on cars, and making wood gun stocks. Surviving are five daughters: Bertha Watson and Izola Marshall, both of Jamestown, Katie Ellis of Fredonia, Ola Grice of Buffalo, and Natalie Sutton of Atlanta, Ga.; three sons: Jim Fedrick of Cassadaga, Willie Fedrick of Fredonia, and Billy McCoy, whose last known residence was in Dallas, Tex.; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Mary Alice McCoy, whom he married in 1939 and who died Oct. 4, 2006; two sons: Henry James Fedrick and Peter Fedrick; a daughter, Betty Reeder; and several brothers and sisters. The funeral will be at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday in Powers, Present & Sixbey Funeral Home, 316 E. Fifth St., Jamestown. The Rev. Leroy Walker, pastor of Emmanuel Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Forestville Cemetery. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the funeral service Wednesday in the funeral home.
