Lily Dianne Castro

Lily Dianne Castro, infant daughter of Javier and Katie Sloan Castro, passed into Heaven Monday (April 8, 2013) in the Texas Children?s Hospital in Houston, Tex. She was born March 19, 2013 in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, where her parents are serving as missionaries. In addition to her parents, she is survived by a sister, Lucy Elizabeth Castro at home; her maternal grandmother, Dianne Sloan of Jamestown; her paternal grandparents: Raphael and Elizabeth Castro of Honduras; her great grandmother, H. Avis West of Greenhurst; an uncle, Andrew Sloan of Bemus Point; and a great aunt, Becky Gagnon of Florida. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, John Sloan; great grandparents Allen and Anna Sloan; and great grandfather, James West. The funeral will be at 10:00 A.M. Thursday in St. Timothy Lutheran Church in Bemus Point. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. today (Wednesday) in the church. The family wishes to collect money for the purchase of a ventilator for the NICU at the hospital where Lily was born.
