Reuben H. Rinaldo, 92, of 132 Aldren Ave., died at 10:55 P.M. Friday (Feb. 2, 2007) in the Lutheran Home and Rehab Center. He was born Nov. 5, 1914 in Jamestown, the son of Charles and Selma Helberg Rinaldo. A 1934 graduate of Jamestown High School, he had been employed for 36 years at the former Art Metal Construction Co. as a quality control manager, and later worked at Jamestown Metal Corp. He was a member of First Lutheran Church, where he was formerly a member of the church council and the Kuples and Singles Club. He enjoyed fishing. Surviving are three daughters: Jeanne Ecklund, Joyce Tedquist, both of Jamestown, and Karen Fitch of Hamburg, N.Y.; ten grandchildren: Brenda Ecklund of Sinclairville, Curtis Ecklund, Jr. of Pittsford, N.Y., Daryl Ecklund of Virginia Beach, Va., David Ecklund of Warren, Pa., Robert Tedquist of Silver Lake, Oh., Michael Tedquist of Glendale, Ariz., Daniel Tedquist of Jamestown, Linda Ried of Findlay, Oh., and Andrew and Katherine Fitch, both of Hamburg; thirteen great grandchildren; and a sister, Margaret Rickard of Spartanburg, S.C. He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Marian Anderson, who died July 27, 2003; five brothers: Ivor, Paul, Robert, Walter, and Lawrence Rinaldo; and by two sisters: Lillian Anderson and Helen Morris. A memorial service will be at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday in Memorial Chapel of First Lutheran Church. The Rev. Daniel Rumfelt, chaplain of the Lutheran Home and Rehab Center will officiate. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery. Visitation will not be observed.
