Thomas Faison, 68, of 522 Pine Ridge Rd., died at 7:12 P.M. Saturday (Nov. 19, 2005) in WCA Hospital. He was born Sept. 1, 1937 in Nightdale, N.C., the son of Hudson Faison and Marie Grissom Faison Parson. Prior to his retirement, he had been employed for 43 years as a machine operator at Marlin Rockwell Corporation, and also had been a private snow plowing contractor. He was a former member and president of the Midnight Brotherhood Motorcycle Club. He loved working on motorcycles and cars, and was an avid coin collector. He is survived by his ex-wife, Eunice Faison; and four daughters: Victoria R. James and Diana Faison, both of Jamestown, and twins Sharon M. Faison and Shirley M. Forney, both of Huntsville, Ala.; six grandchildren: Rashonda and China Leeper, and Ronald James, Jr., all of Jamestown, Qiana James and Tanishia T. Forney of Huntsville, Ala., and Spec. Truman Leeper, serving with the U.S. Army in Iraq; seven great grandchildren: Izonna Austin and Lehanna Y. Leeper of Rochester, N.Y., D?Yavion and O?Zion Rosario, Toreion C. Leeper and Noah and Jaydon James, all of Jamestown; a brother, Charles Faison of Jamestown; two sisters: Emma Mitchell and Geneva Faison, both of Jamestown; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Howie, in 1995. The funeral will be at 1:00 P.M. Friday in Emmanuel Baptist Church. The Rev. Leroy Walker, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Friday in the church.
